What the press says

One of the best homegrown instrumental surf guitar bands is undoubtedly The Keeymen.

They were among the first to start playing surf rock in Hungary in the 2010s with The Keeymen, sparking a mini revival that brought a touch of Venice Beach to Budapest for a few years. Blending carefree Californian surf vibes with the scent of Balaton fried dough, The Keeymen became a defining band in the local underground scene — all without any social media presence, and after their first cult album, they only released new music this December, four years later.
